2005 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

2005 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

This wine represents our first step to expand our Pinot Noir program. It is a blend of grapes from the Sangiacomo Family’s Roberts Road vineyard and their Vella vineyard, both in the Sonoma Coast appellation.
Floral and smoky aromatics dominate the nose on this wine. In the mouth, this wine starts with an explosion of red cherries. Smoked hickory notes, forest floor and vanilla dominate the palate. The acidity is crisp and bright, and the finish is long.
The combination of these three blended Dijon clones has produced a very complex wine that just screams for a plate of good food!

First Vintage: 2004 Release: Spring Cases Produced: 240
