In 2008 we were able to secure our first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from the world-renowned Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III, located in Rutherford in the heart of the Napa Valley. This historic vineyard is the former Beaulieu Vineyard No. 3, which was originally planted by Georges de Latour of Beaulieu in 1928. The property is located adjacent to Caymus between Conn Creek Road and Silverado Trail. We source Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 337 grapes from F Block within Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III. Soils are primarily sandy loam, with a fair amount of rock from the old creek bed that runs through F block. Defined by its lush, full body and lingering flavors, this wine seems to find every corner of your mouth. Sweet red fruit brightens flavors of cassis, boysenberry and hints of chocolate. We think you will be thrilled with our first effort from this storied vineyard and expect the wine to sell out quickly.
