2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
Home Ranch Vineyard, Sonoma Valley

This vineyard was planted by Craig in 2002 and is located in Craig and Ellen Haserot's "backyard" at the southwestern edge of Sonoma Valley.  The vineyard makeup is 80 percent clone 337, 10 percent clone 15, and 10 percent clone 191.  Vineyard spacing is 6 ½' x 3 ½' to encourage vine competition for water and nutrients.

The 2007 vintage is the third from this vineyard, showing additional maturity and more of a classic cabernet sauvignon profile compared to previous vintages.  Layers of blueberry are still present, continuing a trend that has come to define this vineyard designate wine.
