Reuling Vineyard

Sonoma Coast

Reuling Vineyard lies just off Highway 116 between Graton and Forestville. Developed in 2000 by Mark Aubert and Peter Michael Winery, the site has become one of the premier Pinot noir and Chardonnay properties in California. It includes 12.2 acres of Pinot noir planted to three unique clones–Calera and two distinct “suitcase” clones from the Vosne-Romanée region of Burgundy–and 2.2 acres of Chardonnay grown from cuttings from the Côte de Beaune. Perched on a small, gently sloping hillside, the vines benefit from the cool marine influence as well as exposure to the sun and afternoon heat that ripen grapes to optimal maturity. Sandy, Goldridge soils naturally stress the vines, resulting in low yields and concentrated flavors.
