Vineyards
In our quest to make memorably luxurious wines, Sojourn Cellars only sources grapes from the best growing sites in the finest appellations in Sonoma and Napa counties. Family-owned vineyards along the rugged west Sonoma Coast, Petaluma Gap and cool Russian River Valley provide the backbone of our singular Pinot noir and Chardonnay wines. The warmer regions of Sonoma Valley, as well as the renowned Oakville and Rutherford appellations of Napa Valley, give us Cabernet Sauvignon wines of great distinction.

Gap’s Crown Vineyard
Sonoma Coast, Petaluma Gap
Gap’s Crown Vineyard sits near the town of Cotati at an elevation of 300 to 800 feet, where it overlooks the Sangiacomo Vineyard just to the west. This is a high-end, hillside vineyard that has established itself as a premium source for top rated Pinot noir and Chardonnay wines vintage after vintage.

Sangiacomo Vineyard
Sonoma Coast, Petaluma Gap
Sangiacomo Vineyard on Roberts Road near Cotati has been Sojourn’s flagship Pinot noir vineyard since 2004. This exceptional site was developed in an old creekbed at the western base of Sonoma Mountain.

Walala Vineyard
West Sonoma Coast
The Walala Vineyard is perched along a ridge 1,200 feet above sea level, just inland from the rugged Sonoma coastline. In its position above the dense fog line, the vineyard experiences the moderate temperatures that give grapes longer hang times for optimal flavor and ripeness.

Rodgers Creek Vineyard
Sonoma Coast, Petaluma Gap
Rodgers Creek Vineyard sits at 300 feet above sea level, between Sonoma and Petaluma, in the teeth of the wind and fog of the Petaluma Gap. The vines grow in light, chalky volcanic ash soils in steep inclines.

Ridgetop Vineyard
West Sonoma Coast
Located just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean in the town of Annapolis, and sitting at 1,100 feet above sea level, Ridgetop Vineyard is Sojourn’s most coastal vineyard site. The maritime influence effectively moderates high temperatures during summer and fall, while the vineyard’s position on the eastern side of the first coastal ridge protects it from fog.

Reuling Vineyard
Sonoma Coast
Reuling Vineyard lies just off Highway 116 between Graton and Forestville. Developed in 2000 by Mark Aubert and Peter Michael Winery, the site has become one of the premier Pinot noir and Chardonnay properties in California.

Riddle Vineyard
Sonoma Coast
Riddle Vineyard is located on a ridge in Green Valley near the town of Occidental in the West Sonoma Coast. At 750 feet above sea level, its gentle, north facing slopes overlook many of the iconic Pinot noir vineyards of the region.

Wohler Vineyard
Russian River Valley
Developed in 2006, Wohler Vineyard in Forestville sits in the heart of the famed Russian River Valley within sight of the Russian River and the historic Wohler Bridge. The combination of cool climate and Goldridge Series soils provides perfect conditions for growing classic, ultra-premium Pinot noir.

UV Silver Eagle Vineyard
Sonoma Coast
Silver Eagle is a world-class vineyard developed in 2006 by the late Ulises Valdez. It is an extraordinary site near Occidental in the West Sonoma Coast. Calera clone of Pinot noir forms the foundation of this wine, blended with Pommard and a suit-case Vosne-Romanée clone.

Nightwing Vineyard
Sonoma Coast, Petaluma Gap
Nightwing Vineyard is located at 1,200 feet elevation on a windy mountainside at the eastern edge of the Petaluma Gap within the cool Sonoma Coast appellation. The vineyard gets its name primarily from the variety of winged creatures that come alive as the sun sets.

UV Lucky Well Vineyard
Sonoma Coast
UV Lucky Well Vineyard sits high up on a coastal ridge not far from the Pacific Ocean. It was developed by the late, renowned vineyard manager Ulises Valdez and is still meticulously farmed by the Valdez family. Warm days along with cool breezes and foggy nights allow for the slow maturation of robust, complex flavors and silky texture.
Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III
Rutherford, Napa Valley
Sojourn is honored to source fruit from Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III, a famed property developed by winemaking pioneer Georges de Latour in 1928 and cultivated by the legendary Andre Tschelistcheff.

Oakville Ranch Vineyard
Oakville, Napa Valley
At 1,000 to 1,400 feet above sea level, the Oakville Ranch Vineyard looks west over Napa Valley. This high elevation and western exposure, in combination with soils of clay over volcanic rock, produce the rich, powerfully structured wines that make the vineyard one of the most sought-after in California for Cabernet Sauvignon.

Home Ranch Vineyard
Sonoma Valley
Planted by Sojourn Founder Craig Haserot, the Home Ranch Vineyard is located just 10 minutes northwest of the town of Sonoma. The vineyard sits in a small bowl protected by the southern edge of Sonoma Mountain. The microclimate averages 3 to 5 degrees warmer than downtown Sonoma.

Durell Vineyard
Sonoma Coast
More than 25 wines from Durell Vineyard have earned 92+ points, making the site one of Sonoma County’s most sought-after vineyards. Durell sits on the southeastern edge of the Sonoma Coast appellation–thirty miles east of the Pacific Ocean, 10 miles north of the northern stretches of San Francisco Bay, and just south of a 2,400-foot mountain range.
