Oakville Ranch Vineyard

Oakville, Napa Valley

At 1,000 to 1,400 feet above sea level, the Oakville Ranch Vineyard looks west over Napa Valley. This high elevation and western exposure, in combination with soils of clay over volcanic rock, produce the rich, powerfully structured wines that make the vineyard one of the most sought-after in California for Cabernet Sauvignon. Replanted in 2006 by organic viticulturist Phil Coturri, the site is surrounded by a “who’s who” of neighbors, including Dalla Valle, Joseph Phelps’ Bacchus Vineyard, Pedregal, and Maybach.
