2017 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

Our 2017 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a cuvée that includes small lots from three of the top vineyard sites in Sonoma Coast–Sangiacomo, Durell and Gap’s Crown. The wine reveals an intriguing nose of stone fruit and yellow apple that leads to rich, concentrated flavors. Balanced acidity and ageing in 30 percent new French oak barrels broadens the texture without overwhelming the fruit. Sojourn Cellars also produces single vineyard wines from these sites.

2017 Sangiacomo Vineyard Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast

Our flagship Pinot noir, produced by Sojourn since 2004, comes from the Sangiacomo Vineyard on the western base of Sonoma Mountain. Cool ocean breezes and fog from the Petaluma Gap help develop complex flavors and balanced acidity in grapes. The moderate 2017 vintage gave this wine deep, classic Pinot noir flavors with hints of forest floor and earth.

2017 Gap’s Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast

The steep slopes and rocky soils of the renowned Gap’s Crown Vineyard perennially stress the vine. In 2017, extreme temperature fluctuations added to the stress resulted in exceptionally tiny berries. These berries imparted deep cherry concentration, as well as layers of flavor and complexity to the wine. Whole cluster fermentation enhanced the long, complex finish.

2016 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

Oakville Ranch Vineyard–the backbone of our Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon–dominates the blend of our generous and supple 2016 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine spent nearly four weeks fermenting on skins to ensure that the tannins and fruit flavors were balanced.  The resulting wine is rich and vibrant, offering vivid flavors of blackberry, raspberry, cassis and mocha.

2016 Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon, Rutherford

In 2016, early budbreak, uneven spring weather, and the fourth consecutive year of drought gave us small, concentrated berries. This wine, from the renowned Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III in Rutherford, offers big aromas and flavors of dark cherry, earth, and the mocha notes of the classic Rutherford Dust profile.
