Vintage after vintage, Reuling Vineyard continues to delight us with its consistency in producing Chardonnay with a distinctive rich and savory character. It is situated on a small sandy hillside, just off Highway 116 between Graton and Forestville, where it benefits from the convergence of the cool marine influences from the coast. We craft our Chardonnay from a block that is planted to a unique “suitcase” Montrachet clone, setting it apart from other vineyards in the region. In 2023, we picked the grapes from this single block of Montrachet clone at night and pressed them whole-cluster immediately in the morning. The cool vintage resulted in fresh aromatics, intense flavors, layers of complexity and perfect tension. Rated 94 Points.

"The 2023 ‘Reuling Vineyard’ Chardonnay comes from this location in the Sonoma Coast AVA. Stored in 50% new French oak this delivers salted Challah bread alongside banana, white peach and shades of freshly cut lime on the palate. Dense and delicious, with a great sense of tension and sanity, enjoy now and over the next decade." - Owen Bargreen
