2023 Wohler Vineyard Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
Situated in the heart of the famed Russian River Valley, within sight of the Russian River and the historic Wohler Bridge, Wohler Vineyard combines climate and well-draining Goldridge series soils to provide an optimal environment for growing ultra-premium Pinot Noir. In 2023, we harvested in multiple passes, fermenting each block separately. The vintage’s cooler weather resulted in bright flavors, balanced structure, and a silky lush texture. Clones 667 and 828 provided a core of rich red fruit, while the Wädenswil 2A component contributed hints of earth.
