7th Annual Pinot DAys Chicago Grand Festival
Saturday’s Grand Tasting will showcase 60 phenomenal producers of Pinot noir. Wine lovers will be able to sample up to 150 pinots from every important domestic Pinot noir region, from the Russian River Valley to Oregon, Carneros to the Santa Lucia Highlands, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast. Come taste the highly acclaimed wines, and talk with the gifted winemakers who create them. Attendees will have access to pinots previously unavailable in Illinois.
Stop by the Sojourn table to say hello to proprietor Craig Haserot and sip a few “under the table” wines.

Come and celebrate the kick-off the Pittsburgh Wine Festival’s 12th year, this coming Thursday, May 8,th 2014, at Heinz Field. The East & West Club Lounges become a wine drinker’s personal clubhouse, where sampling the best wine the world has to offer is the order of the day.
There is only one place in the region that both rookie and veteran wine tasters can come together, trade notes, insights and opinions. Heinz Field is the place. Once there, you will have access to 165 vendors and over 500 different wines of every varietal and terroir, so be ready to expand your palate and enhance your knowledge.
Are you an experienced enologist with an impressive cellar? The VIP Tasting is the ticket for you. Special reserve wines are poured during the VIP Tasting from 5-7 PM that are unavailable during the Grand Tasting. Also, the limited number of people with access to the VIP Tasting allow for reflection and conversation with the winery representative at each table.
Just getting into the game? No problem, the Grand Tasting (7-9 PM) is the perfect way to start. Had good luck with Italian wines? Sample from a list of dozens to find your perfect match. Love the oakiness of the California Chardonnay? Spend your time in the domestic wine area to discover the best.

Manhattan Beach Wine Auction

The Manhattan Wine Auction is the largest charity wine auction in Southern California. This year’s event on June 14, 2014, will mark our 20th Anniversary. Graciously hosted by the Manhattan Country Club, and a sold out gala each year with 1800 paid attendees, this year’s event will feature:
Samples from 80 world class vintners and 30 of the finest local restaurants.
- Live music and dancing
- Live and Silent auction lots featuring the finest in collectible wines, exotic trips, one-of-a-kind dinners
Proceeds from the annual Manhattan Wine Auction benefit the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation (MBEF). MBEF is a non-profit organization which provides grants to the seven public schools of Manhattan Beach in order to maintain the core curriculum necessary for our children’s education.

Mark your calendar for the fourth annual West of West Wine Festival from August 1st – 3rd. The event will be held in Sebastopol at The Barlow, just one hour north of San Francisco.
The Festival begins with Welcome Dinners hosted by member wineries on Friday night, August 1st. These dinners offer a rare opportunity to dine with winemakers in their home or winery.
Saturday offers morning seminars, interviews and flight tastings, following by the first of two Grand Tastings on Saturday afternoon and the Grand Dinner Celebration in the evening.
Finally we will return to the Grand Tasting tent on Sunday afternoon for a second opportunity to taste through the wines.

Family Winemakers presents its 1st tasting of small, family-owned wineries from across California in San Mateo after 23 years in San Francisco. The San Mateo Tasting is open to trade and wine media, as well as consumers. Also featured will be the iSip Lounge for specially ticketed consumer who want to taste wine retailing for $75 or more.
