Manhattan Wine Auction

Saturday June 15, 2013

The Manhattan Wine Auction is the largest charity wine auction in Southern California. Graciously hosted by the Manhattan Country Club, and a sold out gala each year with 1400 paid attendees, this year’s event will feature:

Samples from 80 world class vintners and 30 of the finest local restaurants.
Live music and dancing outdoors to the John Brown Band.
Live and Silent auction lots featuring the finest in collectible wines, exotic trips, one-of-a-kind dinners, a 2013 Ford Escape SUV and much more.
Proceeds from the annual Manhattan Wine Auction benefit the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation (MBEF). MBEF is a non-profit organization which provides grants to the seven public schools of Manhattan Beach in order to maintain the core curriculum necessary for our children’s education.

Vinify Winery & Vinoteca Collective - 6th Annual Vinify “Get a Taste” Event

Vinify is the state-of-the-art winemaking facility we are proud to call home. On June 22, 12pm - 4pm, Vinify will open its doors for the rare opportunity to taste and purchase very limited production wines. Joining your Vinoteca favorites are 9 additional very small production vintners that hand-make their wine here.

Winemakers and owners, including Sojourn Proprietor Craig Haserot, will showcase their wines and be on hand to answer your questions. Some Vinify wineries are hot up-and-comers, while others are established brands producing highly allocated, quality wines, sold exclusively direct from each winery. Carry out and shipping will be available.  A generous spread of cheeses and other tasty wine treats will be provided.  We hope to see you there!

Pinot Days in San Francisco

International Pinot Noir Celebration

The IPNC is a three-day event, famous around the globe, as a mecca for lovers of Pinot noir and northwest cuisine. During the weekend, world-renowned winemakers, northwest chefs, esteemed media, epicures and wine lovers will gather in McMinnville, Oregon, for three days of exploring Pinot noir, savoring unforgettable meals, and learning and celebrating with luminaries of the food and wine world. Whether tasting Grand Cru Burgundy or walking through Oregon vineyards with the grower who planted them, guests find themselves unwinding in picturesque Oregon wine country for what wine legend Jancis Robinson described as “one of the most enjoyable wine weekends in the world”. West of West 2013 Wine Festival

Join us as Sojourn Cellars pours our delicious Pinots at the West of West Wine Festival.  Hosted by the West Sonoma Coast Vintners, the third annual West of West Wine Festival will be held from August 2nd - 4th in Sebastopol, just one hour north of San Francisco. The West of West Wine “WOW” Festival is an unparalleled opportunity to experience the extraordinary wine, food and culture of the West Sonoma Coast. The Grand Tasting offers a stellar line up of more than 40 producers and growers pouring some of their most coveted and hard-to-find gems, all pure expressions of the West Sonoma Coast.

The Festival begins with Welcome Dinners hosted by member wineries on Friday night, August 2nd. These dinners offer a rare opportunity to dine with winemakers in their home or winery. Saturday offers morning seminars, interviews and flight tastings, following by the first of two Grand Tastings on Saturday afternoon and the Whole Hog Feast Celebration in the evening. Finally we will return to the Grand Tasting tent on Sunday afternoon for a second opportunity to taste through the wines.
