We sourced fruit from two vineyards in 2009 that complement each other to create a concentrated, complex blend that screams classic Russian River Valley. Pinot noir clone 115 from Suacci Vineyard along the southern border of the AVA provides a core of fine-grained tannins and bright aromatics. Clones 115 and 667 from Sapphire Hill Vineyard, situated further north, add body, lush texture and darker flavor components. The resulting blend has a firm, balanced structure with multiple layers of fruit and earth.
