2014 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

2014 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Our 2014 Russian River Valley Pinot noir is a blend of three vineyards. This wine showcases the beautiful expression of Pinot noir when grown in the cool climate and loamy soils within the Russian River Valley. Wohler Vineyard Pinot noir provides the foundation for this blend, exhibiting classic Russian River Valley characteristics from its site adjacent to the river. Riddle Vineyard, located in Green Valley, provides complexity and nuance. Pratt Vineyard, nestled in the Sebastopol hills, adds bright acidity and fresh fruit flavors. A small proportion of the renowned Reuling Vineyard balances out the blend with earthy notes and smooth tannins. The resulting wine has a firm, balanced structure and multiple layers of red and dark fruit, earth and floral notes. This Pinot exudes intriguing aromatics that lead to a lush, silky texture. It is drinking exceptionally well right now.

First Vintage: 2008 Release: Fall Cases Produced: 650 $45.00
