2021 Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir
2021 is our second vintage offering a blend from the Petaluma Gap AVA. This wine combines four vineyards located in the wind-swept Petaluma Gap region of the Sonoma Coast. They join together with wonderful synergy, combining the intensity and structure of the hillside Gap’s Crown and Nightwing Vineyards with the elegance and silky textures of Sangiacomo and Ueberroth Vineyards. The resulting blend showcases the intensity of Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir. It was a joy to blend this wine, although unfortunately in limited quantity.

"The 2021 Sojourn Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir is fermented with native yeasts that is aged in 50% new French oak barrels and sports a shimmering neon garnet core with a rose-colored rim. Blue fruit dominates the nose (blueberry, huckleberry, and plum), alongside additional aspects of shaved chocolate, powdered graphite, crushed pink peppercorn, and a touch of olive brine. A lovely pine-spice note hits the back palate on the finish. This is another lovely Pinot Noir from the team at Sojourn." - Jeremy Young, International Wine Report
